T'aeme is sensitive. His telepathy often unintentionally results in him learning more than he wants to. Raised in the Aenar underground, he spent a decade studying to become a Chirurgeon amongst Andorian society, but he wasn't liked there. He wasn't aggressive enough. He was lucky to have found a friend in a fellow student.

Qippa wasn't cut out for their dream job- what Terrans would label as a "cowboy". Even if they live in awe of those that are, Qippa's still developing the skills they'll need on the road.

Qippa's pretty into their home planet's traditions... which doesn't bode well for T'aeme. He isn't too fond of gunslingers and bounty hunters playing on Qippa's portable video projecter during the Medbay's off-hours.
